Why is there a 15W bulb limit?The LED bar mount inside the glass envelope is a fitted assembly higher-wattage bulbs (above 15W incandescent equivalent) generate heat that the mount is not designed to dissipate. Using a 9W LED (60W incandescent equivalent in brightness) stays well within safe operating range and delivers the intended ambient glow. Halogen and incandescent bulbs above 15W will void the warranty.
Is it dimmable?Yes, with the right bulb. Install a dimmable E14 LED bulb plus a TRIAC (forward-phase) wall dimmer such as Lutron Casta or Leviton the bulb dims through the dimmer. The fixture itself has a built-in on/off push button (not a dimmer). The default bulb shipped with the lamp is non-dimmable; specify "dimmable bulb" at checkout, or swap to a dimmable E14 LED after delivery.
