Bang Concrete Pendants recycled ceramic waste, terrazzo, 1 to 12 heads.
Each pendant is cast from a composite of concrete, construction recycling waste, and terrazzo materials recovered from the ceramic industry cluster of Foshan, China, where 4million tonnes of ceramic waste accumulate each year. The Bang pendants do not aestheticise sustainability as a feature; they simply return industrial waste to the table of everyday design, compact and purposeful. Available as a single pendant or clustered in configurations from 3 to 12 heads for dining rooms, double-height lobbies, and large residential installations.
Product Overview
Material & Origin Story
Foshan hosts the worlds largest ceramic industry cluster. The production process generates approximately 4million tonnes of ceramic waste per year. The Bang pendants recover this material grinding, reconstituting, and casting it into concrete and terrazzo form returning industrial by-product to the domain of domestic objects. Each pendant carries the material history of that process in its surface texture and mineral composition.
Cast from recovered ceramic waste and terrazzo each piece carries a unique mineral surface.

1 HeadSingle pendantShade: 4cm Total H: 30cm / 1.6H11.8Compatible with LED and Edison filament bulbs. The Bang pendant has an open socket with no shade or diffuser the bulb is fully visible beneath the concrete body. An Edison filament globe bulb (G25/G30, 22002700K) is the intended pairing the warm filament glow complements the raw concrete and terrazzo texture and adds to the industrial-meets-artisan character. A frosted globe LED at 46W also works well if you prefer a softer, less directional light source.

Each pendant is cast individually from a composite of concrete, terrazzo, and recovered ceramic waste. The distribution of terrazzo aggregate, the porosity of the surface, and the mineral colouration will differ between pieces. This variation is inherent to the casting process it is not standardised and cannot be standardised. In a multi-head configuration this means each pendant in the cluster will be subtly different, which adds to the installations handmade, authentic character rather than detracting from it.
Do the 10 and 12-head configurations require a very high ceiling?Yes the 10 and 12-head configurations hang H250cm (98.4) total from the ceiling canopy. To clear the floor safely, you need a minimum ceiling height of approximately 4m. For standard residential ceilings (240280cm), configurations of 19 heads are appropriate. The 8 and 9-head versions hang H200cm and require a ceiling of at least 3.5m. Always measure your ceiling height before selecting a configuration.
Is Edison bulb recommended over LED for this pendant? Both work, but Edison filament is the more expressive choice. Because the Bang pendant has no shade just an exposed socket below the concrete body the bulb itself is fully visible and becomes part of the lamps visual composition. An Edison filament globes warm, visible filament contrasts naturally with the raw concrete and is the pairing the pendant was designed for. A frosted LED globe works well if you prefer lower glare and better energy efficiency, with a softer, more diffused glow beneath the pendant.
Is the Bang Concrete Pendant certified for North America and Europe?Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110240V worldwide.
