A slender vertical bar crafted from porous black travertine features a discreet integrated LED strip running along the inner edge, casting a soft vertical wash of light. Anchored at the base by a contrasting block of solid walnut wood. Ideal for use in pairs to frame mirrors or artwork, or for sophisticated hallway lighting.
The bar of this wall light is made from genuine travertine stone. To create a deep, even black aesthetic, the stone surface is finished with a matte black coating rather than left in its natural off-white state. This is an intentional design choice: the weight, density, and natural pore structure of genuine travertine are preserved, while the surface colour is controlled. The entire stone presents a consistent matte black this is exactly as it was designed to be.
Travertine is formed in the natural environment through thousands of years of complex physical and chemical processes. Even beneath the black surface, the pore distribution and stone characteristics of each piece remain entirely unique.
