A wide aluminium disc with an integrated solar panel on top and a warm LED ring glowing from its edge planted directly into the ground via a single pointed metal spike. No wiring. No tools. No electrician. Push the spike into the lawn or soft ground, set the disc level, and the solar panel charges through the day while the LED ring activates at dusk automatically. At 30cm the disc has genuine visual presence in a garden the warm amber ring reads clearly against grass at night, creating a low pool of directed light around the fitting.

Installation: push the spike into the ground thats it

There are no brackets, no concrete pads, no cable trenches, and no tools required. The pointed metal spike pushes directly into lawn, soil, or soft ground. The disc sits at ground level. The solar panel faces upward to charge. The whole process takes under a minute per unit.

Choose your spot

Select a position that receives direct sunlight for several hours per day the solar panel needs good sun exposure to charge fully.

Push the spike into the ground

Press the pointed metal spike firmly into lawn or soil until the disc base sits at ground level. No tools required on soft ground.

Done charges by day, glows at dusk

The solar panel charges automatically during daylight. The LED ring activates automatically at dusk via the built-in sensor.

Frequently Asked QuestionsDoes this work in hard soil or gravel?

The spike is designed for soft ground lawn, garden soil, and loosely packed earth. In compacted soil, a pre-made pilot hole using a stake or screwdriver will make insertion easier. The spike is not suitable for gravel, concrete, paved surfaces, or hard clay without prior loosening. For hard or paved surfaces, the wired version with an alternative mounting method is recommended contact our support team for guidance.

How much sun does the solar panel need each day?

For full runtime at night, the solar panel should receive a minimum of 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. In shaded garden positions or during winter months with fewer daylight hours, runtime may be reduced. For positions that receive limited direct sun, consider the wired AC version for consistent performance.

Can I use these near a pool or in a very wet area?

Yes IP65 means the fitting is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction, including rain and garden sprinklers. It is not rated for submersion in water do not install in areas where the disc would be submerged or where standing water regularly covers the surface. Pool surrounds, wet lawns, and areas with regular irrigation are all suitable.
