Ingeniously mounted on a solid walnut wood block, the piece is anchored with earthy elegance. The light unit pivots to direct the warm, linear LED glow exactly where needed ideal for reading nooks, bedside lighting, or gallery walls.
The body of this sconce is made from genuine travertine stone. To create a deep, even black aesthetic, the stone surface is finished with a matte black coating rather than left in its natural off-white state. This is an intentional design choice: the weight, density, and natural pore structure of genuine travertine are preserved, while the surface colour is controlled. The entire stone presents a consistent matte black this is exactly as it was designed to be.
Travertine is formed in the natural environment through thousands of years of complex physical and chemical processes. Even beneath the black surface, the pore distribution and stone characteristics of each piece remain entirely unique.
